What do I need to do after ordering? 

Sit back and wait for your box to arrive! We'll send you a couple emails. One to let you know we received your order and then one to let you know that your order is packed and ready for delivery.

When do you deliver?

We deliver Wednesdays-Fridays depending on your location. Your order will include your delivery date.  Holidays may impact your delivery day, but don't worry, we will keep you updated in advance!

Do I need to be home for the delivery?

Nope! You'll receive email and text notifications throughout the day of delivery to let you know when your order is on the way and when it has been delivered. Please leave any specific delivery instructions in the orders notes section when placing your order, so that we can best accommodate your delivery requests.

When is my credit card charged?

When you place your order, our system will send you a confirmation email with an estimated total. Your card on file is not charged when you place your order. Your card is only charged once we pack your order, enter your specific item weights and then mark the order as packed.

How is my order packed and shipped?

Items are individually vacuum sealed and shipped frozen- always! Deliveries for customers in Home Delivery Zone 1 have a general transit time of 1hr-12hr, depending on the delivery route. Items are packed frozen and carefully sealed inside of a recyclable liner bag (that helps to reduce air flow and keep your items cold) with a drain-safe frozen gel ice pack to ensure safe temperatures throughout transit. Deliveries for customers in Home Delivery Zone 2 have a general transit time of 24-30 hrs. Items are packed frozen and carefully sealed inside of a recyclable liner bag (that helps to reduce air flow and keep your items at safe temperatures) with multiple drain-safe frozen gel ice packs. All of this gets packed inside of a biodegradable, compost-friendly, drain safe foam-type insulation to ensure safe temperatures for extended transit.

What can I do with my packaging materials once I receive my order?

Our goal is to provide our customers with an exceptional delivery experience every time! No body likes being left with excess plastic and packaging waste, not to mention the detrimental impact it has on our environment, so we try to make it as easy as possible for you to recycle/reuse/return these materials.
Boxes can be repurposed for your needs or if you happen to be in the area or are shopping our on-site farm store, they can be returned in person to our farm store.
Liner bags can be recycled with your other #4 recyclables. 
Drain-Safe Frozen Gel Packs can be reused for your convenience or thawed and the non-toxic contents emptied safely down your drain! Safe for municipal waste water or home septic systems.
Insulated shipping liners are tested and safe for home composting or dissolving down the drain! Simply remove the plastic film (recycle this with the other #4's) and compost to enrich the soil in your garden or dissolve in warm water right down your sink!
If you are ever in the area and would like to return any of your materials to us in person during Farm Store hours, we would love to reuse clean and unbroken materials!

Is there a cost for delivery?

Please Note: Most orders of $159 or more qualify for Free Home Delivery, while orders less than $159 will incur a $9.99 - $14.99 delivery fee depending on your location

Is there an order minimum for Home Delivery?

Yes, there is a $124 order minimum to ensure we have enough product in your box to maintain a safe shipping temperature.

Do I need to place an order to visit the farm?

We'd love to have you visit the farm during Farm Store hours. You do not need to place an order online prior to your visit. Please remember that we frequently sell out of popular items, so placing an order ahead of time ensures we set it aside for you.

How does Subscribe & Save work?
